The cafe's bright decor and clean lines create a space where you can enjoy a leisurely meal or a quick bite, making it an ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike.

The menu boasts a variety of delicious offerings, but a few standout dishes truly capture the essence of this Hong Kong-style café. The tomato pork chop noodles is a must-try, featuring tender, beautifully marinated pork that delivers on flavor with every bite. As described by satisfied customers, its generous portion size and superbly crafted soup make it an exceptional value.

Another favorite is the signature pineapple bun served with fried egg and butter. Diners rave about its flaky, fresh texture; the way the butter melts inside the bun creates a comforting warmth that is simply irresistible. Karl Chong notes, “It looks like this dish is meant for sharing,” and he’s right! This dish’s unique combination of sweetness and savory goodness will have you reaching for more.

If you're in the mood for something a bit more adventurous, don’t miss the laksa soup. With its delightfully creamy texture, it offers a rich and satisfying twist on noodle soups. Both the pork chop and laksa soup have garnered praise for being indulgent yet not overwhelming, ensuring you walk away feeling nourished, rather than stuffed.

What makes Waso Cafe even more appealing is its attentive and friendly staff, a sentiment echoed by many customers. From the moment you enter, the service is prompt and accommodating, with team members eager to guide you through the menu, even if ordering online can sometimes be a bit challenging, as one reviewer pointed out.

Great food for the price you pay. I order tomato pork chop noodles and grapefruit red tea. Both tasty and the portion of noodles and pork chop is huge. The pork chop is well done, tender and marinated well. The soup is superb. Service staff is attentive and friendly.

Order via a qr code (also in English). Very clean and efficient. I really enjoyed the signature pineapple bun (tomato, fried egg and butter), it was flaky, fresh and delicious, you don't feel heavy. My wife ordered the lo maxian and it was huge. It was super tasty and loaded with toppings but not a size you would expect. It looks like this dish is meant for sharing, it is a little too salty for me, so I could only have a little bit, but it good valuem pretty big for one person. The hot Horlicks and the cold milk tea are perfect as standard. Not too sweet the way it is. Enjoy!

Nice looking cafe. Problem is the ordering via online is in Chinese and even though I’m Chinese there are some terms I’m uncertain. Ordered the pineapple bun and there are two choices of “big fire” and “small fire”. My milk tea came firs and I had drunk half a cup before the bun came. Then I realized big fire meant hotter. The butter melted inside the bun. . Anyway the bun and tea were not too outstanding.

Pork Chop is tender and delicious. Laksa soup is creamy. I love the noodles though.

Good place for a quick and cheap meal. Nothing spectacular but everything tasty and the staff is very pleasant.

This HK Cafe Cha Chen Tang is one of the best one I’ve been. Friendly staff, delicious food, Reasonable price. Highly recommend
